中高では「小編成」の吹奏楽部が増えているのに…

そこで！東京藝術大学で音楽を専門に学ぶ若手演奏家が「小編成」に取り組む演奏会をすることで、小編成でも吹奏楽を楽しめる環境づくりを目指しています。

より良い作品の提案や新たな作品の委嘱によるレパートリーの拡充
そうして「小編成」を盛り上げることで、吹奏楽界、ひいては音楽会全体を盛り上げていきたい！

miniTua-wind ensemble●新たな吹奏楽のカタチを追求し小編成吹奏楽に本気で向き合うべく、東京藝術大学に学び、国内外のコンクールで上位成績を収めた学生の有志などで構成されるバンド。中高生が小編成吹奏楽の新たな魅力や可能性を発見し、人数に関係なく「音楽を楽しむ」土壌となることを願い活動する。2022年10月の1st Concertでは大編成にも引けを取らない迫力を披露し、翌年7月の2nd Concertでは新曲の初演やフレックス編成にも焦点を当て公演を行った。
This band is made up of volunteer students who have studied at Tokyo University of the Arts (Tokyo Geidai) and achieved top scores in competitions both at home and overseas. The aim is to explore new forms of wind ensembles and take a serious look at small wind ensembles. The group bases its activities on the hope of helping junior high and high school students discover fresh appeal and possibilities in small wind ensembles, and to create an environment where music can be enjoyed regardless of the number of people involved. Following the first performance in October 2022, in which the group delivered a powerful performance and showed it could hold its own against larger scale orchestras, the 2nd Concert in July the following year focused on the premiere of new pieces and flexible orchestration.
